CARDIO COMBAT The Cardio Combat sessions provide Combat Kickboxing training without the physical contact - in other words no sparring.
The lessons concentrate on improving technique - both in exercise and martial arts - and increasing fitness and strength levels. Training is undertaken in a variety of different ways from line-up work to pad and bag work. The only contact made with fellow students would be a moderate impact through pads when holding them for a partner, that said you will find all students to be considerate of differences in size and strength and willing to adapt their performance accordingly. This is not an aerobics class, it is not kickboxercise either. The Cardio Combat offers an outlet for students who wat to learn martial arts skills without the constant worry of contact. It is not the easy option, the classes are taught in the same manner as our graded martial arts classes and students are encouraged in the same way.
