COST At first glance our pricing structure may seem a little complicated - it isn't we promise... We are set up to be as flexible as we possibly can whilst maintaining our restricted class sizes. We have provided a summary of our pricing structure below with a more detailed breakdown of fees and costs further on. If you are having difficulty understanding any of the points, please contact us and an Instructor will be happy to answer any questions you have. Lesson One First Class is Free! Lesson Two Class will cost either £5 for a Senior class of £4 for a Junior class. Licence fees are also due at this time; this is an annual fee of £45 for Seniors and £35 for Juniors. We will also require 2 passport photos to complete each student licence. Lesson Three How much you pay for your tuition depends upon two main factors;
If you are working on a cancellation basis then you will be paying per class or using the Advanced Payment option. If you have a regular place and are joining in the middle of the month then you may pay per class until the beginning of the next month. Ir you are joining at the beginning of a month but cannot afford to pay Monthly Fees as well as Licence Fees then it is Ok to pay per class until the following month. After this time you must pay monthly to hold your place(s). Confused? Hopefully the following detailed breakdown and explanaition will help. MARTIAL ARTS LICENCE A licence must be held by all members from the second lesson onwards. Licence fees are payable annually and cost £35 for students 17yrs and younger, £45 for adults 18yrs and over. Licence fees have two parts; Insurance and Membership.
Licence fees apply to all Academy members from 4yrs and over, including those attending Cardio Combat sessions.
THE TUITION FEES As you are probably now aware we do not hold open classes; spaces are limited to 10 Lil' Dragons, 12-14 Junior Warriors, Junior Kickboxing and Junior MMA and between 10 and 14 students in all Senior sessions. We have two types of space; regular and cancellation. Students with regular spaces do not have to re-book every week, the space is theirs. All junior students must have a regular space to train at Attitude. For seniors who do not want a regular place, cannot attend at regular times or who are joining the Academy when classes are full we offer a cancellation basis for bookings; you tell us when you want to train and we do our best to find you the spaces you require.
Monthly Fees... If you have been offered a regular place(s), the cost of classes is calculated over a forty-six week period. This allows for four separate weeks closure for our holidays and 2 weeks closure covering Christmas and New Year. The total amount is reduced by a percentage and divided equally over 12 months. Monthly fees are payable during the first full week of every month. The amount you have to pay is determined by the number of spaces you are retaining - we call it Bronze, Silver or Gold payment. It is important to stress that if you are keeping a regular and guaranteed place then fees are paid every month; if students miss any lesson fees are still due (catch-up lessons available, see below). As previously stated all Academy closures are taken in to account so you only pay for the time that we are open. For ease of payment and monitoring the monthly fees are simply divided equally over 12 months (whether the month has 4 or 5 weeks or includes a holiday or not). This ensures that your class will always be available to you, and allows our Academy to continue to restrict our class sizes and offer more personal tuition. We do request cancellation notice should you be unable to attend. This allows us to accommodate all of our students in a flexible manner and alter our lessons accordingly. There is more information about cancellation notice in the Student Handbook that all students receive upon joining. If you have to cancel a lesson and would like to book a catch-up session there is obviously no extra charge. If you would like any lessons in addition to your regular place we charge a nominal fee as detailed in the table below. Cancellations... If you are working on a cancellation basis (Senior students only), then ultimately you have two options; you can either pay per lesson at a cost of £5.00 per class, or you may purchase an Advanced Payment of 10 lessons at a cost of £45.00. If you choose to use our Advance Payment options lesson are booked as required, once booked payment is allocated from your AP card and will not be refundable or transferable upon cancellation.
Methods of payment... We accept cash or cheque but no swipe cards. If you are paying monthly you do have the option of setting up a Standing Order to pay your fees. Please ask an Instructor for more details. |
